Oyster Mushroom Pulao
Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice (soaked 30 mins)
200g oyster mushrooms (sliced)
1 onion (sliced)
1 tomato (chopped)
1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick (Tej Patta) (Laung) (Dalchini)
1 tsp cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp ghee/oil
Salt to taste
2 cups water
How to Cook:
Heat ghee, add cumin, bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon.
Add onions, fry until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala.
Add tomatoes, sauté until soft.
Add mushrooms, fry 2–3 minutes.
Add soaked rice and water.
Cook until rice is done. Serve with raita or pickle.
