Oyster Mushroom Butter Masala

Ingredients:

  • 200g oyster mushrooms (cleaned & sliced)

  • 2 onions (chopped)

  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)

  • 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp fresh cream

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder (Haldi)

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder (Dhania Powder)

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Heat butter+oil, sauté onions until golden.

  • Add ginger-garlic paste, fry.

  • Add turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder.

  • Add tomato puree, cook until oil separates.

  • Add mushrooms, salt, and cook for 7–8 minutes.

  • Add cream, kasuri methi, garam masala. Stir. Serve with naan or jeera rice.
