Oyster Mushroom Bruschetta

Ingredients:

  • Oyster mushrooms – 150 g, sliced

  • Baguette slices – 8

  • Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped

  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp

  • Fresh basil leaves – 6, chopped (or coriander for Indian twist)

  • Cherry tomatoes – 6, diced

  • Black pepper – ½ tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • (Optional non-veg) – add crispy bacon bits or shredded chicken

  • (Vegan option) – skip cheese or use vegan mozzarella

Method:

  • Toast baguette slices till golden.

  • Heat olive oil, sauté garlic, mushrooms until browned. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper.

  • Spoon mushroom mix over toasted bread.

  • Garnish with basil and (optional) cheese. Serve warm as appetizer.
