Crispy Oyster Mushroom Fry (Indian Style Pakoda)

Ingredients:

  • 200g oyster mushrooms (large pieces)

  • ½ cup gram flour (besan)

  • 2 tbsp rice flour (for crispiness)

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder (Haldi)

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for deep frying

How to Cook:

  • Mix besan, rice flour, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, ajwain, salt.

  • Add little water to make a thick batter.

  • Dip mushrooms into the batter.

  • Deep fry until golden and crispy.

  • Serve hot with mint chutney.
